GOLD Tarnished looking 1999 D Delaware state Quarter???

    Hi, I was hoping I could get some help on this 1999 D Delaware state Quarter, One side looks fine and the other side looks a gold tarnished color???

    Looks like someone did something to it (PMD) Are you hoping it was gold? cause I don't think Denver has any gold planchets to make coins out of :3

    No, just picked it up framed at a thrift store, and I was wondering why it was framed, because the side I could see looked just fine?!?!
