Filled D mint mark

    hi i have a 1978-D quarter and the D is filled.
    How much is it worth?

    25 cents sounds about right, the filled D mint marks are very common on the quarters.

    common on all coins and by itself, doesnt mean much. Some are kind of cool looking for individuals who like such things. I save filled dates when I run across them because im weird and I like them. I particularly like 1950s where multiple numbers have chips. Adds no legitimate premium that Ive ever seen....unless you spend time on Etsy where a filled MM may be listed for $15,000
