Found this bill between pages in a US Currency book I'm selling. Could it be a dye pack bill?

It's possible! Contact the feds to see if the serial number matches any from old bank robberies.

I would hope that the bank would not have that much detailed information about individual small bills. Feds could probably state if they had not recovered all the money ($1.00 less). I would also think that there is a way to test this ink.

It could be, looks like some of the ones I have seen. Though it is possible someone just spilled Kool-Aid on it :p

It's some aggressive dye on the bill. I've done my share of spilling cherry kool-Aid and my mom would have really kicked my butt if it stained like this.

As the Clerk is emptying the cash drawer, she goes for the singles....and throws them in the bag...
