Am interested in starting a collection of gold certificate notes and was wondering if Denly's of Boston is good guy dealer?
I have never bought from them directly...I have better luck at Live Auctions and some dealers I have relationships with. I have never heard anything negative about them though... RickieB
same here - i have never used them, but for the folks who have brought them up, they seem to always speak positive.....
I have purchased supplies (namely banknote holders) from them for years. Always been good transactions, but I haven't purchased notes from them. Dave
I recommend Denlys. I have bought off the website and at shows. They run a special on the first Monday of every month where you can make offers on the notes on their website. You may want to check that out if you can wait until the beginning of December.
I have bought from Denly's on many occasions at shows. Never been unhappy. Nice stuff, friendly people and good on grading. I've never bought from them online as prices tend to be what they are. In person I've had them give me some pretty nice discounts. Two thumbs up from clembo.
I have really only purchased from them once, a Series 611 $10 MPC note that arrived a couple of days after I purchased it, with communication through the course of the sale by Jennifer Cangeme. I check their site frequently though, because they do have nice stuff, and do have the make an offer Mondays which are cool.
I have bought a few MPC,S from them the last being a Series 651 $1 in 68PPQ And found the customer service to be marginal when i had a problem, But After some conversation they did offer to fix the problem
