Copper toned state quarter

    this is kind of hard to pick up on camera. There is a copper tone to this quarter. The copper is front, back and on the edges. There is not silver toning even on the edge, the only silver tone that comes up is where I have circled on the coin.     It doesn't look like it's missing both clad layers, either. Have you weighed it?

    Looks like a gold plated quarter.

    no I haven't weighed it yet. Will do when I get home. If I find anything odd I'll let you know. There is a little silver toning where I circled where the silver is showing, the rest is a copper tone. But not as copper as your half dollar. If it's coppernplated they did a very horrible job at it. To picking and grinning, it's too copper to be gold plated. Lol to me it looks more like copper dust got into the mixture of the silver colored metal.
