I strayed a bit from my typical currency collection, but I thought this was cool. . . A season pass to the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, IL. This ticket was printed by the American Bank Note Company in New York.
One of my favorites, I don't have the Indian ticket but I hope to get one in the future. And beautiful no less!
If you don't mind me asking, where did you purchase from? Raw or graded? I'm not sure if this should have been a concern, but I convinced myself that these tickets were likely easily counterfeited so I decided to buy one that had been authenticated.
I purchased it raw from my local dealer. He had a near complete set come in. I only bought the Columbus one. He still has the Indian, Washington and Handel. Also has a manhattan day one. They were all in unc condition. I don't know what these would grade if submitted but they all were in nice condition. I am sure they now could be counterfeited but if u ever have read anything about them they were supposed to display all the latest counterfeiting measures of the day. If interested pm me and I could text him for some more info.
