Histman Too Many Coins, Not Enough Time!

Does anyone know of a national bank in California that has a coin counting machine? I have a credit union that uses one, but the bank I pull the coins from and the credit union I use for dumps have the same coin transport company (Guarda). Yes, I know I could look for another source bank, but I have a really good thing with my source bank. So, I need another dump bank. Preferably one that doesn't charge members.

    Thanks!

Most banks, at least smaller branches buy roll coins. Not enough room for equipment and labor to run machine. Good luck.

I have accounts with two major banks in California - Wells Fargo and Crappy Bank of America, and neither has coin counters...

I'll scratch those two off my list. Thanks!

    You're welcome.

That said, Wells Fargo provides excellent customer service and they will order Half Dollars for me... on the other hand, B of A has NO redeeming qualities.

I've banked with both before, but left because I didn't like the fees for everything. Went to a credit union instead. Unfortunately, my home loan is with BofA.

TCF branches all have coin machines, but I don't think they have branches out that way.

I found out Wescom Credit Union out here has them... now to see if there's a branch not too far...

I wish every bank still had machines. That sure made things easy. It just cost the banks too much to keep then running. I found one that let me deposit coins at no charge.

The bank I have used in the past, changed policy and shut down their machine. Said they will take rolls, or, send coins to the main branch for counting.
I was unhappy at first but, it will be a good place to get CWR's

Well, sending the coins to the main branch for counting also usually means they put the customer wrapped rolls in bags and you won't get a chance to purchase them.

Thanks! I'm in Central California and I don't recall ever seeing one of those.

I was asking what TCF was? I am assuming those are initials.

When I type tcf into google, it has the bank's site as the first result.
    Google, my friend.

If all we do is Google things, there wouldn't be any need of this site for collectors.
