Hello. The reverse of this Valens' coin shows a soldier holding kinda banner on which are inscribed the Greek letters X and P. The first is Chi, and the second is Rho. They are one over another. They do represent the first two letters of Christ. I mean C and R in pronunciation. So that was an important symbol of Christianity on Late Roman Bronze coins, the like of Emperor Valens' .
