Celtic Ring Money ?

    I was left some antique artifacts including Chinese and other antiquities from a close friend who recently passed.He bought various pieces at Sotheby’s and some from Chartwell House School Museum and these Celtic rings were among them.I discovered they were Described as Celtic Ring Money and I was looking some help to see if anyone has any info they could share thank you.

    I know nothing about them, but can you trace the paperwork that would have been with them.

    Some paperwork but just for the ancient axe head collection I got with these , I have a letter that’s says the Earl of Antrim donated items to schools, museums in England around the 1860’s .Could be some of what he donated possibly .

    Celtic Bronze Ring
    Probably a Horse Harness Ring. However, during this time Bronze, Brass, Copper were traded as store of wealth, or form of money.
