Some paperwork but just for the ancient axe head collection I got with these , I have a letter that’s says the Earl of Antrim donated items to schools, museums in England around the 1860’s .Could be some of what he donated possibly .
Nice collection. You can get an idea of what is available on the market by searching for "Celtic Ring Money" in ACSearch: https://tinyurl.com/ya72abox Mostly gold and bronze. Bronze examples are very common. There has been discussion that the bronze rings were actually utilitarian. Think horse bridles and harness, slings and belts. http://www.calgarycoin.com/reference/articles/celticrings/celticrings.htm
I have some of the larger ones that might be for horse bridle etc and Some of the other pieces I’m researching.
Celtic Bronze Ring Probably a Horse Harness Ring. However, during this time Bronze, Brass, Copper were traded as store of wealth, or form of money. Celtic AE Ring 800-500 BCE Not money, but an everyday use item: Ancient Celts Shaving Razor 8th-6th c BCE Bronze Age Hallstatt Type 48mm x 40mm
I collect cast bronze. It comes in many different sizes and shapes. A few of mine - The place of origin is not well known, unless you have find data. Few, if any, pieces have find data. The small rings were sold as Celtic. The larger one was sold as middle eastern. They could be Roman or Greek. The link by @Edessa is a good one. http://www.calgarycoin.com/ I often see them on cgb - https://www.cgbfr.com/rouelles-lot-de-3-anneaux-de-bronze-lot,bga_205894,a.html
Some other bronze pieces I have don’t mean to go off topic but as your interested in cast bronze thought you might appreciate this crossbow trigger.
