Not worth much more than the melt, but still about $8.50.
nice find anyway. It's not often that you find one of those anymore. I'd hang on to it.

What you have is a 1934 Washington quarter produced in Philadelphia. It is in Good (G-4) condition. Good (G-4) sounds nice, but remember that the grade scale for coins is a 1-70 scale. The good news is that it is 90% silver and contains about $7.00 in silver. Besides it's always fun to find a nearly 80 year old coin. Keep checking your change.

Actually right now at current silver price of 33.34 an ounce, this quarter is $6.0294, so rounded up $6.03. As for the grade, like other said, it's a G4 grade from the looks of it.

It's not like a rare variety, but wheat cents are always worth holding onto in my opinion.

Their metal content alone is worth more than face value.

Value is melt: .18084(silver content in ounces) x $32.95(current spot price)=$5.96 melt value.
