A friend of mine has a book she wants to sell, I want it, but she doesn't know how much she wants for it. It has every penny s/d/no mint from 1941 to 1961. Any idea how much I should offer or what its worth.
I have several of these sets, the book value is over 20 bucks for circulated coins, but I have trouble getting more than 7 bucks a set. If there are lots of high grade coins in your set, it would be worth more.
unfortunately, no key dates exist in your book of cents, so you can probably sell it for up to $20. If the coins are all or mostly in BU condition, you could sell them for up to $50.
If these pennies are AU or less in grade, I wouldn't pay more than $10 for it. If it's a mix and match, I'd have to see them to determine how much I'd be willing to pay. Like others are saying, $20 is likely reasonable though but really hard to say without seeing them. If they were pulled from circulated change with wear, etc, $10 would be even too much for me.
