Hi all.. This is my 3000th Post!

Today was a great day for me because I had my biggest Metal Detecting finds ever! I got to the beach around 6:30 am with extremely cold temps and gusty winds. Only found about 12 coins in 2 hours and was ready to leave when some stranger out of nowhere came up to me and said "go check the waters edge, last weeks storm churned up the sand"
I'm glad I listened to him because a few hours later these were the results :woot:
    172 Cents
    43 Nickels
    86 Dimes
    43 Quarters
    4 World Coins
    2 Antique NYC Subway Tokens
    1 Silver Ring
    4 Costume Jewelry
2 Fishing Weights and Misc Metal

    EXCELLENT!

It's common for detectorists in Southwest Florida to search the shallows of the Gulf of Mexico, but you have to do the "Sanibel Shuffle" to avoid stepping on a stingray.

The silver ring is marked 925 and the 2 antique NYC subway tokens were a surprise... I have yet to look at all the US coins.. so many!

Still too cold and all mud in Cleveland area to use the metal detector!! The mud pulls your boots off in an instant!

It even sucks you into the duck coop ground - just changed their straw bedding today and it's supposed to rain heavy on Tuesday! More mud!!!!!!

I'll bet those little devils yield a multitude of manure for crop growing. :)

Well let's just say - last year I had Pablano pepper plants that were almost 4 feet tall and FULL of peppers!! Froze plenty of stuffed pablanos and froze the rest for cooking with.
