I got an email from APMEX today advertising their Bullion credit card. While I'm not wanting another credit card at this time, has anyone here applied for it? If so, have you found it worthwhile?
I know I don't need another card. I am currently only using 2, Chase Visa Amazon for which I do all my shopping and AMEX for trips on certain things. So I cannot speak for this new card.
This is the first I've heard of it, so I went and looked it up. Seems like a sensible twist on rewards -- although it makes me wonder whether they'll ever issue a card that tracks your balance, spending, and payments in terms of gold or silver rather than dollars (presumably doing a conversion with each purchase or payment). Not sure who would sustain the higher risk there, the consumer or the card provider...
I'm curious how they'll determine you're using the card to buy then flip coins. Thus then cutting 'ya off from the card and benefits.
you have to weigh the rewards and see if it worth it, I accept AMEX and that good enough for me, get plenty of rewards when using it dont carry balances when buying GOLD.so it works for me.
