    Henry IV 1399-1413
How can they create a GROAT which is nearly perfectly round in 1412 ?
Has anyone seen another full weight groat 0f 60grs of this period ?
What is the after POSVI on the reverse, like a small cross ?
Does anyone have any opinions on this coin ?

It is Henry IV it has a Annulet to left and Pellet to right of crown

    Latest Story:
A friend of mine is sitting in the Irish Pub having a drink, telling all us friends that he has a new baby boy, eberybody very happy and buying him drinks.

moneyer12 i just love UK coins.......

looks like a forgery, if it is real then it is the best one i have ever seen without any clipping whatsover and could be worth mega bucks, but i think it is a fake....

    Hi moneyer12

Having said that it was poissibly a fake, what are the indicators that you see to show that it is one.

I noted it could be you have seen a forgery or have details how to recognise one

    Look forward to your rely

The Groat was sold at the Brady Sale in Spinks Auction @19'000 ukp + commission. Taking my view that every coin purchased is like buying a new car and it losses value once you have taken delivery, you are looking at 13'000 ukp

    Still researching Henry IV Groats

    Any help will be appreciated.
