They are doing a buyers road show in a couple of weeks right down the street from me in a hotel. Anyone know about their reputation? I've thought about unloading some peace dollars, maybe a 100 or so while silver is pretty high. I don't need to sell them but I could invest that money into higher grade collectibles. The Peace dollars are not culls, but mostly XF- AU. Will peace dollars in that condition do better than melt prices?

Try google reviews, click on 1 star and judge Premier Gold for yourself.
My wholesaler is paying $25.25 for F+ and $31 for BU Peace Dollars. They do not have a price for AU or AU+ listed today. My guess would be approx. $28.

In my city, these roadshows are known to pay very low prices on everything.

I was just curious. If I get serious about selling any junk silver, I'll talk to my LCS or a private buyer. I had never heard of these people and wanted some feedback.

I'm not surprised as these type of buyers hope to buy from those who don't know anything about prices. They exist to screw people who don't know any better. They usually have an offer of a free no obligation price assessment, these companies will take advantage you if given the chance, I stay far away! lol.gif

If I were you I’d attend the show but pass on selling anything. I’ve never heard of them but if they’re new you may find prices lower to buy. That’s means they must buy cheap.

Road shows are a no-no ! @fretboard is right on they always pay the lowest possible prices, my best advice is go to your LCS or someone maybe you have an established
relationship if not just shop your silver around as prices can vary greatly.

I trashed the flyer but I didn't see anything regarding them having anything for sale. I'm extremely wary and cynical to begin with.

I was tasked with selling my late mom's jewelry collection last year for her estate trust. I visited a few jewelry dealers, made calls, ect. I attended an Underwoods Jeweler's brokers buyers weekend with the collection. Got an offer for it all at around 7k. I walked away very disgusted. Ended up finding an estate seller who more than doubled that net to our pocket by selling them in her shows. And the crown jewel diamond ring still is pending for sale. We did well with her and she made very good money for herself. My guess is the original lowball offer was about 15% of resell value.
