check for doubling on washington ear, my also has the samething on the reverse, heres a photo of what the ear looks like
It's hard to say for sure what you have here from just looking at the photos . from what I can see this is probably a die chip , it looks like some of the coins show where the chip was starting to form and one coin where the chip was formed better. these coins probably came from the same rolls
Heres what my double ear looks like, I have 2 of them, theres also a die chip in U of UNITED, just didn't photo
That's awesome , I like looking thru the new rolls of coins because if I find a error or variety coin the same rolls usually will have lots of the same type coins. I found over 400 of the 2005 5 cent bison detached leg coins and a few of the rare clashed die peeing bison coins from the same rolls with a certain date on the boxes. I'm like you I also have rolls of quarters with all kinds of problems that are identical to each other and from the same dies. they may be worth something farther on down the road , I just enjoy searching for them.
actually I just kept the ones with the big chip. the smaller chips I threw back. a lot of them have a die dot left of his jacket. they are BU otherwise I wouldn't keep so many
