I found this quarter while working at a gas station and noticed it had several errors right off the bat. I took it to a local coin collector and he said it definitely was an error coin and advised me to post it on some coin forums to get a better more accurate idea of its value.. First of all there is no outer ridges it's completely smooth around the rim then both the obverse and reverse sides have a completely smooth and flat surface on both Washington's face and the face of Sally.. any knowledge thoughts or ideas on this coin would be greatly appreciated...
YouTube collector most likely.Your coin is damaged and I see no errors whatsoever, value?still 25 cents.
Yeah, somebody messed with it. If it were a real weak strike it would still have reeding. So after they spooned out the reeding they stuck it between two smooth metal plates and attacked it with a hammer, flattening the high spots on both sides. Best guess, anyway. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it…imo…Spark

I found the same coin with the same errors, Its not man made. Seems like an ultra rare coins that been circulated but should have been kept for errors.
I found one that looks the same and same errors. SO unless someone is abusing the coins the same it's ultra rare at this point and only a few in circulation.
