I was browsing through my loose change and recently came across this 2021 Crossing The Delaware Quarter with clear mint error marks. Looks like some maybe DD. Just curious to find out what exactly I have found. I've seen several examples of mint errors for this particular coin but none that match what I have. Any advice on what I have is greatly appreciated. Pretty new to the whole "mint error" coins and my normal focus is mainly on Indian head cents/Gold. One main question is if this coin is worth sending in for grading? Again, any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
Although I'm no expert, the doubling you are seeing looks like mechanical doubling and not an error. Without a picture of the whole coin, it is hard to judge condition, but I see enough damage in the partial pictures to confidently say that sending it for grading would be a waste of money. It's a spender. Wait for others to answer though.
Looks like maybe a die chip on ponytail. Rest damage. Coin wrapping crimping machine and contact from another reeded coin.
