Just got an email that the 2019 silver proof set being released next week will also include the free 2019-W cent. However it is now a reverse proof. Suppose this could be in response to the toning failures of the regular proof cents?
I don't think so. There will be a Reverse W Proof cent with the Silver Proof set and when the UNC Mint sets come out there will be a Mint State W cent. So there will be three different W cents in 2019.
I have a subscription for Silver Proof Sets. Plus I'm a sucker for reverse proofs. Hope the quality is better than the regular W proof cents.
Me, too, on all three counts. Plus, the reverse proof should be the lowest mintage of the 3. But I'm keeping that a secret since I'm getting one.
Nah when they first announced the 2019 W they said they would be releasing a proof, a reverse proof, and I believe an Unc example. So 3 coins total.
Yeah..... Doesn’t win the award for most thoughtful question of the day. That’s for sure. Of course the mint announced the upcoming goodies. That’s why I was dialed into the Apollo series for so long. Ah well. Someone needed to look like a dummy today. May as well be me!
I received the notice about the silver proof set, so I did a subscription for it. I'll cancel the subscription the next day.
