2019 P Roosevelt Error Dime-Railroad Rim+Die Chips Obverse?

Hi guys,

I have this 2019 P Roosevelt Error Dime with a railroad rim (Obverse) and several chips of metal across Lincoln's hair, ear and chin (see photo's). I was wondering if these are referred to as Die Chips on Dimes? Is this common on Roosevelt Dimes?

• It has a very very very minor mis-aligned Die.

 

Thanks for the answer. So die chips on Roosevelt dimes are as common as die chips on 1950's pennies?

 

Yes, although some modern dimes have
very long die cracks that can be valuable,
if they go from rim to rim.

Small die chips on coins like your's are good
educational pieces to study/examine, but
don't forget that every coin struck from that
die will have the chips(and maybe bigger);
very little collector value, as they can be found.

I have partial collar dime also but no die chips ,just regular chips ( Sour cream/onion ) .
