2019-P Jefferson nickel die chip is very similar to the 2017-P listed on cuds on coins

It's a die chip for sure. I personally would throw it back.

 

It's possible that the reverse die was used for successive years, but it is highly unlikely. Go ahead and submit it to Cuds on Coins to see if they will list it.

This coin wouldn't get the FS marker because of the hits it has under the right side of the door. Even if it does get listed it's only worth .05 cents.

 

I did try Cuds on Coins and they said they no longer accept die chips. Crazy stuff

 

I actually have found another one in the same roll of coins. What are the chances of a die chip in the same place?

 

Nice die chip. I'd put it in a 2 x 2 and be happy with my find.
