    Hello everyone,

I got this quarter today back as change, I was counting how much I got left when I saw this quarter looked sorta flat on both sides..my first thought is that its was a fake? I can't really find any pictures online that resemble what this coin has but maybe I just don't know the proper term to search for.. Both Washington and the building on the back are extremely smooth to the touch. 20180729_145628.jpg 20180729_145707.jpg 20180729_145647.jpg 20180729_145717.jpg

I took side by side photos, the left one is a coin from the same year that looks normal, the right is the one that looks suspicious. If you need better photos please let me know, and thank you so much for any help you provide! I'm genuinely curious to know whats wrong with this coin ahaha.

Just a damaged coin. Not an error.
Worn down by somebody with too much time on their hands.
Look at all the scratches, especially on the obverse.
