2016 Cumberland Gap reverse images

    While looking through my Cumberland Gap quarters, I found these different images...

    Your first photo does appear as doubling as there appears to be a split serif at the 2. The reverse die chips at the arm I'm finding a lot of. The other two may be die cracks or die gouges. And a misaligned die. Aside from the possible doubling at the date, the rest are minor errors although collectible, at least for me. I would see if John Wexler at www.doubleddie.com might be interested in your photo of the possible doubling. You might also want to contact James Porter at "Coin Seekers" on Facebook.

    Tough call. I sure would like to have this one in hand. It has evidence of both MD & DD. That being said more than likely MD. Still a very interesting coin. I'd try to get this one in the hands of an expert. Good luck!!!!
