    Being from Louisiana, this quarter stood out to me. I have read about the feathers on reverse. On obverse I am not sure if this is a laminated issue in the field, a clash or PMD. Thanks for any input.

    It actually should of been stated this way..
    Looks like it was struck with an over used die ;)

    You don't strike a blank planchet onto a die. The die strikes the blank planchet.

    Yes to both.

    You wouldn't say

    The car drove him to the market

    But rather

    He drove the car to the market

    Lol! In the above example thread given, you commented as well on the terminology, not the coin. But hey, some people focus on different things at times. :rolleyes: But I am glad you did not state it as, This little piggy went to the market!
