Dubbed by some as the 'Mule Britannia', around 17,000 2014 1oz Britannia bullion coins were struck using the obverse die intended for the Lunar Year of the Horse issue paired with the standard reverse die for the Britannia issue .

“On standard examples of Year of the Horse Coin, no dentils are found around the rim; the standard Britannia coin has dentils. All Britannia coins are supposed to have dentils inside the rim on both sides of the coin, while both sides of the Year of the Horse coins are designed without dentils.” Mike Diamond Coin World 3/17/2014 Still1246.1.jpg Still1241.1.jpg IMG_6257.1.JPG IMG_6256.1.PNG IMG_6258.1.JPG IMG_6259.1.JPG
