2013 Mount Rushmore quarter

    hello,

    I have been collecting coins for years ndrecently ran across this quarter. I need some input on this coin. It has the outline on the fron side of the coins only,on the back it is legible on 1/2 to 3/4 of coin but?? I have attached pics-would appreciate all input

    Not a Mint error. It was not minted that way. It was damaged after it left the Mint. It's only worth face value.

    I do know of one other coin like this, not a planchette error(don't know if this is the right wording). I can say that it looks when it was going thruthe process it got hung up because the rim is complete all the way around and you can see letters and numbers in the messed up part. But I don't know enough about coins and errors . Is there somewhere I can take to get a 1on 1 look see?

    That coin is very clearly just damaged. You can take it to a coin dealer if you want, but it would be a waste of your time. There are very knowledgeable collectors here, and this one is an easy one.
