Looks like a classic case of mechanical doubling, note the "shelf like" steps of the doubling.

 

I don't know if thats MD, but heres one that is, and thats easy to see

Definitely cool, mechanical doubling seems to be a lot less present than it was a decade ago. Probably the mint having better machinery/die installation process, and perhaps stricter standards on what leaves the mint.

 

i been finding a lot of jefferson nickels w/ MD, got a tube full of 99p with strong MD on all letters an numbers on obverse, found quite a few 2005's an 2012's an 2013's.....

Theres lots of new cool coins being found, heres one I just found not to long ago

 

The 2009 Formative Years cents are not "die wear doubling." These are doubled dies. The Shield Cent posted is MD.

 

ya I know, but still pretty cool, the shield cent has a nice die grove in the E in CENT, or some of the E is missing, heres what the coin looks like

 

i have got a 2012 d nickel with a lot off doubling on the front and back I also have got a few of 2020 p nickels that have different thing's going on the back to theme my name is Bentley I am new at this I have a lot of Washington quarters that have errors

 

I'm new at this I really like coin hunting I would like to see if any my coins raises any eyebrows I no I'm not going to get rich I'm cool with that but I no their worth more than their value I've look up some pretty good price on some off my coins I have the 1955 we at penny pretty good shape I have a lot of theme Penny's but I also have a 1983 error quarter can't seem to get a price on it I would like to sell some

 

i also have a couple w quarters in fine shape I think so but who Am I I'm not the professional here just looking for someone too send me the right way I don't know about the eBay stuff don't know a Lot about that I afraid to take theme to the coin shop were I live I'm from the country they want you to give theme to theme I was not born yesterday

 

i have so many penny errors it ant funny I have a 1983 d penny it look's like copper but not 100 for sure I been doing a lot of reading own coins I love it the coins I have give away when I was young I rember seeing some off these nice coins they show now and I Cash theme in for face value I'm going to get me a metal acter how every you spell it but you got the idea
