2011 D Penny Error?

Hey guys check out this penny i think it's missing a copper plated coat or this could be somebody science experiment ?

Simply looks like a pink/purple stain.
EDIT: with the new pics, I would guess a science experiment. Not sure, though.

 

Here's a comparison photo of two 2011 d pennies, notice the color of the rim.

I have a 2011 d penny with thousands of lines going every where not like a spider web lifted not scratches. Have never seen any thing like it ever.

It would be best if you started your own thread and post clear photos of both sides of the coin and close-ups if they will help show what you mean.

No offense intended, but as a rule it is impolite to hijack another person's thread. More importantly, however, it would be easier to find your own thread if the need arose.

Both sides of the coin. Most posted here on CoinTalk are not errors. There is a way to distinguish that.

 

2011 d Penny with what looks like a circle inscribed like a millimeter from the edge.

 

I also have this penny and cant find anything on it. Did you ever have any luck?
