    Hello,
I have a 2009 series $2 bill. Signed in ink by BOTH Treasurer of The United States and The Secretary of The Treasury. I can't seem to find any information whatsoever as to the value of the bill or any information on the bill being signed by both parties at all. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated!

It's worth at least $2.00. The signatures on the bill are Post Mint Damage but there are people that collect such things and the premium is not all that much. I would say, at best maybe $10.00. You're not going to retire on this item. :)

I do not consider courtesy autographs by the Treasurer or the Secretary of the Treasurer as Post Mint Damage. I own a $1 signed by Rosie Rios, and have yet to see Timothy Geithner's signature on any denomination. Your note has soft folds but I would still value it between $30 and $50 in it's current condition.

Shouldn't it be PPD, Post Print Damage? :woot: Or PBEPD, Post Bureau of Engraving and Printing Damage :wacky:

Correct @paddyman98 . The Mint refers to coins.
The point I was trying to make, is that PMG, PCGS, and Superior currency grading companies add a notaion "Courtesy Autograph" and not NET or APPARENT to designate these type of autographs and they typically add a premium to the note.
Some autographs by the engravers also are designated on the holder.

I appreciate the feedback! I literally couldn't find any information anywhere. I saw it at work and bought it from them. I don't fold my bills, but whoever owned it before me did lol. I just thought it was another $2 bill until I got home and saw the signatures.

I would say it's not worth the extra money if it's not graded and the autographs authenticated.Without that it's just a two dollar bill someone wrote on.Pretty hard to sell without authentication.

Here is one I have that is worth at least $100. Unfortunately it has a bent upper right hand corner. It was the best I had in my wallet at the time. I'm just too lazy to send it in for grading. P1010308.JPG
