I picked up 3 of these 2009 Hologram Silver Eagles at an auction last month and have not been able to find any info about them on the net. Anybody here know anything about them. 2 of the Eagles are hologram on both the obverse and reverse. 1 of them is only hologram on the obverse. I think they're cool and would appreciate any info you guys and gals could give me about them.

Yes, , but it looks like something that the Home Shopping Network (HSN) would sell. IMHO.

These coins have been "enhanced" after leaving the mint. Much in the same way you find coins that have been "colorized" or coins that have been electroplated. They are a novelty item and do nothing to enhance the value of the coin, and in fact really make the coin worth nothing more than it's spot value.

Cool, I appreciate it. I don't really care about them being worth more, as they are for my kids, I just wanted to find out any info on them that I can.

If you like them that's all that counts.
