2008 D Alaska Quarter. Is this anything worth keeping

    Looks like a minor die chip. Keep it if you like it, but no extra value.

    If I found it I would keep it. As old hoopster said, there's no added value but I like coins with chips!

    Personally I’d keep it because I can and it’s my collection. Nothing worth extra but then, I like chips.

    Your quarter appears to possibly be the Alaska Bear error. Die chip(s) make it look like the bear has extra claws.

    As for value over face, maybe . . . if you wanted to bother with posting it on eBay and finding someone that would pay extra for it, but it is apparently a common 'error' and not worth most collectors troubles. Most listed on eBay didn't sell.
