2007 Idaho State quarter struck through retained error

    Was this struck with bristles from the brush? Any idea of value? Thank you!

    looks like PMD post mint damage.

    This is PMD. Looks like someone took tin snips to it.

    it looks as if there are several pieces of metal embedded in the coin and the outer rim isn't marked so wouldn't think tin snips. I will send more pictures. Thank you very much for your time.

    PMD. Probably from a pair of side cuts.

    It is definitely damaged, wire cutters or something of the sort for sure.

    Somebody cut that coin up with snippers of some sort.

    Definitely not a strike-through and, as far as I can tell, not a mint error.

    Thank you for all of your comments! I suppose in the beginning, we don't understand and want to believe something else... f.y.i. - I saw a similar quarter posted on your site dated 2013!

    You are welcome.. When posting any coin when asking questions about it your main concern should only be if its an actual mint error or not... Worry about if it has value last. There are many errors that really dont have much or don't have any premium at all.
