Hello everyone. I'm new to the site and coin collecting for a hobby. Honestly I know not much about coins and there errors, or worths, so please forgive me if my wording is incorrect. I have this quarter 2006 nebraska that looks to me is defected,
    1. The rim is uneven from the top and bottom, what I mean is there is no lip on bottom like the top.
    2. Li in liberty, quar in quarter, Ameri in America are all lower in depth then the rest of letters, meaning they are flat and the rest of word is raised.
    3. Y a k in chimney rock are messed up
    4, unum look flat.
Any advice and knowledge would be absolutely great, thanks apologies for photos if they are not clear enough i will take diffrent. 20240315_230503.jpg IMG_20240316_212508_HDR.jpg IMG_20240316_212508_HDR.jpg IMG_20240316_212534_HDR.jpg IMG_20240316_212534_HDR.jpg IMG_20240316_212610_HDR.jpg IMG_20240316_212610_HDR.jpg IMG_20240316_212639_HDR.jpg IMG_20240316_212657_HDR.jpg

    Hello @Chr83631! Welcome to CoinTalk.
Can we see the whole Obverse (front) pic please?
Could be slightly misaligned die error (MAD). That or a very slightly off-center error. I don't see any extra value. The coin is severely circulated to put it nicely. wink.png

Just a common slight misaligned die strike. Not at all off-center. Those are two different issues!

The rest is circulation wear and tear damage.

And there is evidence of an incomplete strike ( letters not fully formed ) which could have been caused by a worn die ( die deterioration ) or insufficient strike pressure to go along with a wobbly, shifty die.

The years have not been kind to this quarter, but, then again, it wasn’t made well to begin with…imo…Spark
