I'm guessing that's the Dallas skyline in the background. Welcome to the CoinTalk forum txrelichunter. I wonder why they didn't use the 2003A Dallas district two dollar bill with the "K" on it instead of the New York district bill with the "B" , you're right, no added value but it looks cool.
It's because those dumb networks like QVC and HSN don't even know what they're talking about, so they do something that makes no sense, such as using a dollar meant for a certain state but used from a district halfway across the country! For all we know, someone from QVC's little realm in wherever they are probably got it in change from a coffee shop on their way to work to do a live special on leather coats at 3:00am! I looked into buying these two dollar bills and after talking to the people at QVC or whatever, they made you buy like the complete set and each bill was like $20 total or something like that. Just my two cents. We now return you to our regularly scheduled program.
That's by the same company offering the National Park $2 for $10 ea, in my opinion it is instantly diminishing the value of the note and will cause it to never appreciate in value. I personally don't like that company because their opening line is "Two dollars are among the RAREST of bank notes" big scam, tell that to your bank and they will give you as many $2 USD's as you wish
