Is $40 a good price for a 2003 Norfed $10 one ounce coin? The coins are not beat up but they have definitely been handled. Thanks for any guidance.

Does it have lady liberty`s head on it with the words "Trust in God" on the obverse? If they`re what I think they are....$40 is a good price. I found a site selling a $20 one ounce piece for roughly $50.

$40 is OK. Its a shame you no longer can buy these from the man who made them. (political prisoner)

Yes, it has both on the obverse. The reverse has American Liberty Dollar and Liberty Dollar and 2003 and $10 and Silver and 888.421.6181 and NORFED.ORG and One Ounce .999Fine and CNorfed 2003 and Ten Dollars with a torch in the middle

I think that $40 is a good price for a NORFED Liberty Dollar silver round. That is $2.68 over spot silver (Friday 3-25-2011 spot price was $37.32). These Liberty Dollars are probably sold on ebay for much more than $40.00.

Yup, they`re what I thought they were......good deal, no doubt.....and as Ripley already stated....the designer is a political prisoner and has been somewhat demonized by the government.

Just recently I was scrolling through all the news channels and caught a brief blurb on Glenn Beck about the designer. With more attention being brought to His plight, I think those rounds will go up a little more too.

I paid $40 for one of them just to have one. The guy has four more he will sell at $40. I may buy them.

They are selling for around 55 on eBay, so 40 is a good price.

Paid $40 for the first one, $39 for the other four. Total of $196. My skills at taking pictures are lacking but this is what they look like.

I don't agree the majority on this site in regards to the political aspects, but the fact remains these coins do hold a solid value and with the current situation, once the outcome is in hand (good or bad) the value of the coin will go up. Very historic moment right now, I've been getting as many of them as I can (from the copper to the $5 silver, $10 silver, etc).

40 is very reasonable, I've seen them hit as high as 60 on feebay. Hope your able to get a few! Very cool.

Very debatable question. If you're collecting them that's one thing, but if you're planning on resale profit, IDK.

Like a bad dream, you keep re-occurring on every post that mentions NORFED or Liberty Dollars. Do you or do you not understand what the classifieds are for? Please refrain from advertising on forum posts.
