I have a 2002 denver mint quater who thay say has no errors well they are wrong looks like I got the first one what yall think
Edge view please (of the reeded edge) ....and there are plenty of Louisiana Quarter errors out there....
The website info is incorrect. There are a few Louisiana state quarter errors out there. Here are 2 examples. A double struck Louisiana (a major error): https://www.sullivannumismatics.com...-quarter-double-strike-50-center-ms-63?v=1829 A missing clad reverse error: https://www.sullivannumismatics.com...a-quarter-reverse-missing-clad-layer-ms63-red
Fred Weinberg is one of the premier error coin dealers in the country, and you are doubting his word. Well, I guess there is no point in anyone else trying to help you.
It looks like PMD to me. At first I was thinking broadstruck but if it was, it would be broadstruck to one side and not opposite each other.
@Brandywine I would stop visiting that website. Making the claim that no errors are known for LA quarters is wrong. They said if you find an error, to send it in for grading. Most errors like filled dies and die cracks are minor and rarely worth more than face value. Please take it out of the baggie and take better pics including the edge.
