hi everyone. The only stupid question is the one not asked. Pretty sure these are two pooping horses but look at the one on the left. Reverse,The middle horse, at the top of the tail by his rump,is that a die chip? Same horse, on his head, where the left ear is supposed to be, is that a die chip too or did the environment smash it down? The front horse, right leg, looks detached from his body. I compared other coins ,looked it up but couldn't find anything. Also his left ear looks like the same issue as the middle horse. Can't remember the other errors on them. What do you people think?
Looks like a die chip by the tail of the middle horse. I can’t tell but to me it appears that the lead horse had had a portion of his right (our left) leg polished away to make the die last longer.
Yes sir. The 1937-D three legged buffalo. It was an over zealous die polisher that polished the buffalo's front leg out of the die.
Looks like it would've needed quite a bit more polish, though, to produce a true Three-Legged Horse variety. It still seems quite visible to me.
I found a few with the poop on the last horse on the right, I believe I sold them all maybe for a five each.
By the way I was on Facebook you posted the two pooping horses and I got thrown in Facebook jail for posting things about animals I don't even want to try to explain it
