I found this quarter yesterday at work, and it looks to be a regular 1999 Georgia State quarter but with a wierd tint of gold to it. It has normal wear and tear but it doesn't seem to show any silver. Any idea of where it came from or what its worth?
It came from the mint, as far as the colorationi I see a little copper in there could be a copper washed coin or sintherd planchet , but Im not to sure It's hard to tell by the Pics. I don't think the value would be that much if it is a sinthered planchet t Jazzcoins Joe:whistle:
I see tones of these all the time. I think they are just 'dirty'. Maybe from spilled coke, or sitting in a smokers home for a while? I dunno...
