I'm pretty new to this coin thing but if I have a 1998 penny and the A & M are touching in America is this penny worth anything? The FG is further away than normal as well? I have yet to find any information on this.

I saw this website and forum the other day. But see the penny I have is a 1998 with no mint mark but it does have a close AM because the are touching slightly at the bottom and the fg initials are wide. So does this answer my question that this is very rare? Also the penny has hardly been circulated, it still has a very crisp shine

No, that means your coin is normal.

A close AM on a 1998 is normal.
