Found these 2 today in the same CWR. I’ve never noticed these die cracks before. The die crack lines on these coins are raised - not scratches. Thoughts?

The point of the neck southwest toward the rim is a very common place to find a die crack on a Kennedy half dollar.

So what is it worth? Guessing you will say 50 cents. Just a stupid comment by me.

Thanks Chris. Didn't know how common it was since I never noticed them before. But, my old eyes aren't that good anymore. Will keep them in a 2 x 2 with my other errors.

If you don’t have one start your die crack section. And not bad spotting with old eyes I say!

Even though it really only has a minimal, if any premium, I still think they are cool finds. Nice long break. I would also put it in a 2x2 if I found it

I know this is an old thread, but I just found 2 BU rolls of these 1996-P die cracks spread throughout my most recent coin roll hunted half dollar box. I'm keeping them for sure!
