I understand everything that makes up a wide AM variety...... from the FG initials to the spacing of the A and M on the reverse of the coin. I have found several 98 Wide AM's and 2000 wide AM's. I have also found 2 99 wide AM's. But this is a first. Has anyone else saw a 95 like this ??? The G on the FG initials is close to being the other G but it does have the little dip in it from what I can tell. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Look at the spacing between the M and E that is what a Wam should look like.

Does it make any difference if it is a WAM or CAM on the 1995-D cent? We get the question about "what is and what isn't" so often that I have a Post-It note stuck to my monitor with the years and mintmarks and 1995-D is not one of them.

"But but but this is my million dollar coin!"
"You'll all see when it gets graded and I come show you what's what." - said everyone who "has something" ever. And we never hear from them again.

Hmm...maybe I'm getting a bit bitter and jaded lol. I should just stop opening these threads.

Because it is! I would look into die deterioration and also die abrasion.

Here is some friendly advice to people on Coin Talk who are sick and tired to exhaustion of answering the same questions all the time, and usually with the same result when someone thinks they have something unique or valuable and is neither and/or is a counterfeit, is PMD, or has bad photos : You don't have to view or reply to these threads.

I am a former Homeland Security/CBP agent. I must have been asked the same questions 500,000 times about passports, VISAS, smuggling techniques, celebrity dealings, etc. It gets old really quick. I hate discussing it. At social functions, I simply told (and still tell) people I am/was a gov't clerk to quickly end boring small talk...but I am nice and courteous to anyone who did or does ask if someone who knows me brings it up. I am now a teacher. Same questions about what is due and when 50 times a day despite it being written on the board in the same place every day since September. Again, I am nice and courteous to all who ask.

If you're sick of it, by all means, don't open these threads.

Correct, there are no (zero, zilch, niguna, никто, etc.) known 1995 D WAM's.
