In my cash reg the other day i noticed an odd dime. The dime looked worn like a really old dime, ive never seen a newer dime like this, and i sort tons of change daily. Its obvious that there is erosion damage on both sides and its obviously worn as well. but there are several key oddities. The first is on the face, Roosevelt has a dent through the middle of his head. It isnt a wear mark, there arent any patterns that would indicate typical damage, though possibly something was pressed on it, i think it looks like a strike thru, I could be wrong. Another thing is the slight misalignment, not anything special I know but worth mentioning, it is also deeper than a normal dime. The last is on the reverse. The objects on the back are well struck, but the rim is extremely shallow or worn down going into the text. Around the edge, only on the back are 2 dents in the rim, both sides dip in then level off. What looks to be an orange color on the rim is just a side effect of my flash, but it shows the difference between the dents slope and level area. Also the reeded edge is very minimal as well. Any valid errors? worth keeping?

I figure I'd answer this one since no one else felt like doing it. You have a very very worn down dime. It should sell for .10 cents in the United States.
