Hi good morning everyone. I’m probably annoying about my 1988 cents lol . But this one I try to search with no mint mark and no fg if it’s error but there’s none. I’m curious about this. I need help or opinion please. Thank you so much....
Aww sweetheart, you gotta take those photos from directly overhead, not off to an angle. Can you do 1 photo of the FG initial area? Good morning.
No mintmark means Philadelphia mint. About the missing FG, there is too much glare on your photo to tell. But some explanation could be an over polished die or worn die combined with circulation wear of your coin.
Do you have something like this? Really good to see such small details and you can carry it everywhere.
hi sir good afternoon I’m sorry for late response I was busy with my patient but I’ll be home soon. I will look also in my photos because I took a lot last because I can’t believe that there’s no fg ... mwah
Hi sir good afternoon. I’m pretty sure there’s no FG I was really looking of it like 100times because sometimes I thought but it’s not. This time I’m positive
First this one I thought no fg but when I really look there’s is fg but to light. Unlike the other one
Thank you, just what I was looking for. If you look real close to the steps on the right hand side where the initials should be (you might want to use a magnifying glass) you can see the left side of the F and the G. It's barely there and difficult to see but it's there, barely. It more like the FG was polished away than a grease filled area. I'd definitely keep it even though it's not worth much. Thanks again for the photo.
Your the expert I believe you sir that’s all I want to know . Maybe my eyes are not good and I need glasses especially reading I can’t read more than 5minutes makes me headache...thank you so much hugs
The other coins that is different I thought that one had no fg too . But the other one maybe i need glasses
You're welcome and if you read for 5 minutes and get a headache you should make time to see an eye doctor. You might try on some of those reading glasses near pharmacies. They run about $15 and they have different degrees of magnifying. Try on several different grades to be sure what's the clearest for you. An eye doctor will tell you.
I don’t think those off the shelf glasses are a good idea, they can, and most probably will, make your situation worse. Visit a doctor and get a proper diagnosis. Take care of yourself
I've been wearing them for over 3 years now and I got them at the request of my eye doctor. He just told me which number to use. They work just fine.
