1987 penny with long 7

    Found this in my pocket. Looks odd and I didnt have another 87 penny on hand to compair it to.

    Looks normal from the pic. If there is a light extention on the stem of the 7, it's more than likely a gas bubble. No premium.

    I have that same exact error coin. The 1987 Penny with a elongated 7 is very unique and I'm very interested in finding out the value. Attached is a picture of my coin.

    That is normal for 1987, it does look odd but it is the way they were made.
