1984P Quarter reverse on scale.jpg IMG_0938 (002).jpg I received this 1984P quarter in change. It is all brown and has a small notch or dent on the side of the coin. When I first held it, I noticed it felt lighter than other quarters I had. It also has a slightly different sound than a regular quarter when I drop it. I weighed it on my coin scale, and it does weigh less than the other quarters. Is this a possible error coin or did someone drop it in something to cause the brown color? I also apologize for the size of the pictures. I had trouble trying to post them and didn't realize it would come out so large.

It seems different from other quarters because it got so damaged. That is definitely not a mint error.
