Good Pics! And to me the 4 looks like a mint error.

It would have been interesting to see that coin when it was first minted.

Has anyone notice the size of the oak stems and bottom of the torch just above ONE DIME could this be cause by worn die ?

I think it is a die error. I just found one and it is how I found this post. Will post pictures when I get home. Mine pretty much has the exact same features as the picture posted : )

First let me welcome you to CT after many months of learning from the coin masters here at CT i will have to say it was struck with worn dies.

    Very worn die indeed..

I would still keep it, I think that looks awesome....

    Pictures of coins

Pictures as I said I would upload, taken with a 10 megapixel camera and a eye loop... So are worn out dies worth anything or is it pretty common to happen and see ?

Worn out die coins are just worth face value and worn die coins are not real common it just depends on how many rolls you look at.

Excuse me but I am also new to this. I have the same coin, but I think it has a little more wear.

Very worn reverse die that should have been retired a hundred thousand coins sooner. One of the better ones I've seen. HOWEVER, it really doesn't add anything to the value. You have a 1984P dime worth 10 cents

[Even knowing that it isn't worth anything, I would save it if I got it in change. But that's just me]

Just found this coin, and this post when I looked up the coin. Here are some images, the double line on the rim is what has me questioning if it’s worth more than face value? Any input? Thanks!

    No just 10 Cents
It's just a worn die strike very common issue on Dimes..
    You're welcome.
