Used $100 bill made 1981 federal reserve L. Is it worth anything?

Yes, that was obvious, my apologies for the way I phrased the question. Is it worth anything over a hundred dollars?

Welcome to CT Adell. No, it's not worth over face value today, but who knows 20 years down the road.

Tommy, didn't you mean 200 instead of 20?

If the note came from a full printing I'd say it's a spender due to the creasing. This note is a tough call as it comes from a printing of only 9.6 million, which is quite low for a regular block: http://www.uspapermoney.info/serials/f1981_h.html.

I'd say, spend it if you must but if you can afford to hang onto it for a while I'd put it in a heavy book and see how it flattens out.
