Full-size photos would help. Realize you are using a scope, It is just that you need to get the whole coin in one photo

No mint mark means it was minted at Philadelphia,I see no doubling whatsoever.

I don't see any kind of doubling.

Please stop using the "no mintmark" garbage from YouTube. It's nothing special. Cents minted at Philadelphia have NEVER used a mintmark, except for 2017 to commemorate the 225th anniversary of the founding of the mint.

There are a very small number of San Francisco minted PROOF coins where the mintmark (S) was left off the dies - those are valuable. But "no mintmark cents could be worth up to $1000" is just clickbait.

Amen @Burton Strauss III I get tired of hearing that phrase too. In fact, I usually skip over or pay little attention to posts using that subject.

J bill I signs of doubling on this 1981 Philadelphia cent. Very common.

you’re here… one coin at a time and listen to these people. You’ve landed in a place where there is an amazing amount of knowledge and everyone is willing to share it with those who will listen. Even when you don’t like the answer given, ask respectfully why they think that, as a group you’ll get a good answer and a great start on figuring things out.

We try to assist people but sometimes we don’t say what they want to hear. This is a great site with a number of knowledgeable members. So stick around and you’ll be surprised at what you learn. You should also invest in the R.S. Yeoman Red Book. Don’t go by the prices as it’s just a guide but there is lots of helpful information there.
