1975 nickel "Black Beauty"? No mint mark

    Im just wanting to verify whether this coin is an actual black beauty. Im new to coin collecting and ive been researching but i cannot determine this myself....thanks

    Welcome to CoinTalk. The edge of your coin looks like it is dark like the rest of the coin. Just post mint environmental damage. If it was a Black Beauty the edge would be silvery like a regular nickel.

    I agree with Environmental Damage. Exposure to the elements changed the color of the Nickel which contains copper.
