Ok. Am I need help understanding an attribute of this coin plz.

So, 1. The 7 is lower than the rest of the numbers in the date?

    2. Something about weak/strong with the LIBERTY on the the obverse? What exactly does that mean? I am having a hard time grasping this and the pictures online are not helping.

Just looking for "in a layman's terms" explanation.

    Thanks

Weak Liberty is associated with small date more.
    :)
Weak liberty doesn't appear so raised and blends into the coin somewhat.

@spirityoda posted it for you above:D

1.) Yes, the top of the 7 on the large date '70 S is positioned a bit lower than the tops of the 1, 9 & 0 of the date. The top of the 7 on the small date '70 S aligns with the tops of the other numbers on the date of the coin.
2.) On the small date '70 S, Liberty looks almost faded. With the large date, Liberty is bolder looking (stronger).
Another tell-tale sign is the numeral 9. On the small date coin the 9 has a sharper (tighter?) curve.
That's about as "in layman's terms" as I can explain it.

In the link I gave you there are clear examples of the differences of strike for LIBERTY

Wow demanding. :) Spirityoda's picture sums up the answer to your question bottom left and bottom right.:
Bottom left is weak Liberty on the small date, bottom right is the strong liberty on the large date. it really needs no further explanation, and can't be explained any better. a picture is worth a thousand words.

Asked and answered, so I can't add anything, but that's what I like about CT, members helping others learn. Thanks folks.

not everyone learns the same or is advance in their education. to just look at 2 pictures (which i do online everyday) its just not that easily understandable as to what the picture is referencing for me
